Saarrthi - About the Show

Saarrthi is a story about the conflict between two brothers and their families, one of which is on the path of dharma (Righteousness), the other being on the path of adharma. The story of Saarrthi is not the epic of 'Mahabharata'. Still one cannot ignore the strong underlying similarities in their characters. The story is a reflection of the new social realities, with today's people and their issues and occupations. It is an attempt to recreate an entertaining daily soap with modern characters and much more contemporary conflicts with which the audience will easily identify. All the characters of the serial would be today's characters, except Lord Shri Krishna who will be himself from the real Mahabharat age. The battle is between Mansen Goenka and Dharamdayal Goenka, the sons of Hemraj Goenka- the foremost leading business tycoon of the country. Mansen considers Dharamdayal and his family the illegal descendants of Hemraj and hates them openly. When Hemraj announces the will that only if both the families live under one roof - The Heritage House - will Mansen get a part of the property, Mansen is forced to invite Dharamdayal and family to stay with them. The battle then continues to ensue between Dharamdayal's sons and Mansen's sons. It's a battle between Arjun - the hero of the show and Yuvraj - the main antagonist. Bhumika is Arjun's love interest and the female protagonist.

Written Update- 1/1/08

Epi starts with Krishna yelling at Yuvraj telling him to go away as you will also kill me and my mom. Krishna refuses to call him chaachu and doenst get the bouquet from him. Yuvraj leaves.

Natasha concoles Yuvraj. Yuvraj tells her i can't live. They both hug.

Krishna is watching the video of Bhoomi's and Arjun's wedding when Rudr enters and Krishna asks him why did he lie to him about his papa coming home. Rudr tells him im ur papa and they both hug.

Krishna runs around the house and tells her mummy that i found papa. He points at Rudr and tells her he's my papa. he runs to Rudr. Bhoomi and Baisa both are shocked.

Bhoomi goes and drags Krishna and yells at him teling him u cant make anyone your papa coz he's no more. Rudr interrupts her and she tells him not to interfere and tells him not to show him false assurance.

Bhoomi cries and baisa consoles her.

Shakuntala and dadaji are discussing abt Rudr. Baisa tells them Bhoomi has insulted him becoz she still misses Arjun. They want to secure krishna's future by giving him his share.

Rudr comes home and is throwing things around frustrated at Bhoomi that she always comes in his ways. He wants to destroy them.

Bhoomi explains Krishna that Rudr cant be your papa. she tells him some more about his papa.

In the office, Aksh is angry that he has no right in his own office. Aksh is angry and says he doesnt want to give an accounts of his expeses to Bhoomi wen Bhoomi calls out for him. She tells him its my responsibility and i need to know why she needs money. Aksh tells her to just sign the check as he really needs money. She again asks him y u need money as the amount is huge and she wont sign without knowing the reason,

Yuvraj is playing football wen it hits Yuvraj. Yuvraj gets the ball and gives it to Krishna but he runs away. He is sad and goes to his room. Natasha is upset too and tells Bhoomi to explain Krishna.

Rudr calls Bhoomi and apologises. Bhoomi forgives him.

Krishna asks Rudr for his gift and Rudr tells him its at his home and Krishna goes to his home finding his gift and a man drugs him with Chlorophorm. At home, everyones is finding him
